Dr. Caroline Shea, PT, DPT
Inner Strength Owner,
Clinic Manager, Physical Therapist
Dr. Caroline Shea, the visionary founder of Inner Strength Physical Therapy, holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Evansville in 2020. After making her mark as a traveling Physical Therapist, Dr. Caroline chose to call Fairbanks home in 2022, where she embarked on a mission to redefine pelvic healthcare in the Fairbanks community.
With a specialized focus on pelvic floor muscle therapy, Dr. Caroline brings a unique blend of expertise and compassion to her practice. Beyond treating physical ailments, she is on a quest to educate and raise awareness about the importance of mental health.
Dr. Caroline's approach is driven by a commitment to holistic care. She recognizes the interconnectedness of physical and mental health and tailors her treatments to address the complete well-being of each patient. Driven by a passion for educating and a commitment to well-rounded care, Dr. Caroline Shea is making Fairbanks a healthier and happier place, one pelvis at a time.
When she’s not at the clinic Caroline is spending time with her pets and friends, crafting and photographing all the wonders of Alaska in every season.

Denisha earned her PTA degree from South University in Austin, Texas, in 2022, but she isn’t stopping there, she completed her degree in Sports and Health Sciences from American Military University in 2025 and has already been accepted into the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Hawaii Pacific University starting in 2026.
She has a special heart for pelvic floor care, women’s health, athletes and fellow soldiers. She loves helping people feel strong, confident and at home in their own bodies.
